Hogwarts: A Stitch in Time
On October 31st, 1981 the wizarding world changed. It stepped out of a time of darkness as the dark lord Voldemort went into hiding, believed by many to be long gone. One boys life was changed drastically that night. It is a date known by wizards throughout the world, it is an important point in history, it is the day where Harry Potter became the boy who lived. Harrys fate and destiny was determined that night, as was the fate of the young married couple
That night, the boy who lived lost both of his parents, they died defending him. Or so thats what the world thought. For fourteen years, Lily and James were missing from the world. Their names known throughout the wizarding world, but they were gone. For fourteen years Harry Potter lived with out parents, for years Sirius Black sat in prison charged for a crime he never committed.
And after 14 years, another change occurred, one the wizarding world never expected, but magic can do funny things. It had been an unbearingly hot summer, and this night was unlike the rest. It was cooler, lacked the humidity, and the world seemed quiet. Few believed Voldemort had made his return, after all, Harry Potter was seen as a nut case in the eyes of Wizards. That was far from the truth, plus, if they never believed Voldemort would return how would they ever believe this. If they could never believe that Voldemort was alive, how would anyone ever believe that bodies of James and Lily Potter had finally been found, the catch was, they were indeed very much alive.
:-:-::-:-:
It was complete and utter chaos on Grimmauld Place. Whispers had been circulation the whole morning, and excitement was building up to see what it was Dumbledore had seemed so strange about. But finally, it was the Order's turn to find out what had been going on. Members waited eagerly waiting for the old wizard to descend from the large staircase. The children had all been told to remain out of the way for the time being. It was best to discuss this matter with the adults first. A few members were still upstairs with the man, Remus and Sirius to be exact.
Finally a door opened from above and the man emerged, slowly beginning his descent down the staircase, allowing a faint smile creeping onto his face as he gazed at the eager group. The pair followed Dumbledore out of the room, but continued up the stairs. It only seemed right that they be the ones to tell Harry.
"Well.." the man began with the genuine smile remaining on the wizard's lips as he gazed towards the eager crowd. "I'm sure you are all wondering why we are meeting here. As I'm sure you all heard by the now, last night I brought in some rather unexpected vistors, under very strange circumstances.. I believe it is best we start at the beginning."
"I'm sure we all remember what happened that night with the Potters. Neither body was found of the couple, so the worst was obviously expected. But we have reason to believe more than what we imagined happened within that home. Last night, Bill Weasley was doing business for me, when I received a message from him that I am still quite surprised about. Bill found two unconscious bodies in a field not too far from the old home. Now, it was James and Lily in that field, appearing exactly as they did almost 14 years ago. We are now assuming, a blast within the house did not kill them, but something else happened, something dealing with the issue. It is more than likely that a spell was somehow altered and the two were sent foreward in time, which in my knowledge has not happened before. But magic can do unexpected things. James and Lily Potter are indeed alive. At this point, the situation has been completely hushed, and until I discuss it further with them I would like to keep it that way. They have not seen anyone yet but myself, and are still a bit surprised by what they have learned. When they woke up, they believed a few hours had past, and still appear the way they did as we all knew them. They have not aged, in anyway. And one final thing. None of this get's out until you have my word."

Alright, so this is brand new, the only character taken is Lily, all others are needed.
