I wandered down to the lake and took a seat under a willow tree, releived to get out of the sunshine after getting that nasty burn while I had been in California with my grandparents. I leaned back slowly, not so much because of the burn but more like not wanting to get my purple corset dirty. I had my black knee-high dock martins ((combat boots)) on along with a pair of black skinny jeans. My hair was dyed black with royal purple streaks in it and up in high ponytails. I looked out onto the lake, crossing my arms and sighing. "It's good to be back." I whispered softly to the wind.

I walked out to the lake, intent on going for a quick dive to loosen up before going out to the Quidditch field. I was in my usual black diving shorts with the blood red tribals running up the side. As I got to the shore I noticed a girl that I was surte that I knew. I looked closer and I knew who it was, without a doubt. It was Roxy, a girl that I had been dating and we called it off when she decided to go off. I walked over to her and sat down next to her, "Hello there." I said as I leaned back on the grass.

I looked up from staring at nothing and into the eyes of, "John." I muttered breathlessly. "Umm... Hi..." I offered a nervous laugh as he sat down. "What..." I looked for the right words. "What are you doing here?" Dumb question. I had to remember to hit myself in the forehead for that when I was alone.

"I was about to go for a quick dive before going off to the Quidditch Pitch." I said as I tossed a rock into the lake and looked over to her. The sun glinting off of her black and red hair.
